Error case of Epson XP-15000 Series after power is ON (p2)

Epson XP 15000|15010|15080 error cases (p1)

Posts before, I mentioned some errors which can be seen just when the Epson XP-15000 | XP-15010 | XP-15080 ‘s power on. This post, I’ll post next error case of these printer.

• Epson XP 15000: Release CR Lock, Epson XP 15000 error: Paper jam

Possible cause:

1. IS Motor did not rotate. (Error Code: 000041)
2. IS Motor rotated too fast. (Error Code: 000041)
3. IS Motor rotated. (Error Code: 000043)

Solution for these error:

1. Disconnection of the IS Motor Connector, load is too large for Ink system.
2. Replace the IS Encoder Sensor FFC, the IS Encoder Sensor.
3. Replace the IS Encoder Sensor FFC.
   Common: Replace the Main Board

• Seeks home position of Epson XP 15000

Possible cause:

1. CR did not function. (CR moves) and then it’ll be cause for the “Paper jam” case
2. CR Stopped
   • Fatal Error (Error Code: 000025)
   • Fatal Error (Error Code: 000023 [Stops with noises.])

Solution for these error:

• For case: CR moves

– Check whether the CR Lock is released. If not, the IS Motor or the Ink system is broken.
– Check the mechanical load of the CR manually, and check the Ink system also.
– CR Motor disconnect, replace the cable.
– Replace the CR Motor.
– Replace the Main Board

• For case: CR stopped

1. Clean or replace the CR Encoder Scale.
2. Check whether any obstacle exists in the CR motion range

• Paper ejection on Epson XP 15000 | Epson XP 15010 | Epson XP 15080

a. Paper Ejection Tray

• Error message: “Extend the Output Tray until it stops. Print starts.”

Solution: Check if something is placed in front of the Cassette Assy/Panel Assy or any obstacle exists in the Stacker Assy motion range.

• Go to FATAl ERROR CODE on Epson XP 15000|Epson XP 15010|Epson XP 15080:

Fatal Error: 000140, 000141, 000142, 000143, 000144

Fatal Error: 000150, 000151, 000150 000153

Fatal Error of the Paper Ejection Tray (Stacker Assy) driving system

Solution for these error code:

1. Stacker Assy Sensor Cable disconnected (CN12), improve or replace the cable.
2. Replace the Stacker Assy Sensor.
3. Replace the Stacker Assy Motor and/or Stacker Assy Encoder Sensor.
4. Replace the Main Board.

b. Paper jam

• Error mesage: “Paper jammed in the Inside the printer.”
• Possible cause:

PE Sensor detected paper presence
Note: PF Motor rotates for a while (longer than normal), and then the error occurs.

• Solution:

1. Check if any obstacle exists in the Paper Path. Remove it if any.
2. Check PE Sensor FFC disconnection/breakage, or replace the FFC.
3. Replace the PE Sensor.
4. Replace the Main Board.
