Epson XP 15000 (series) Errors: Extend Output Tray, Paper Jam errors and Head temperature errors

In the Paper Ejection Tray Preparation step while printing, you’ll be able to see some message about it. Now I’ll show you that:

Solution:

Check if something is placed in front of the Cassette Assy/Panel Assy or any obstacle
exists in the Stacker Assy motion range.

Or if you won’t see this error, make sure that you see these fatal error like:

Fixed Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 error code 000140 to 000144, Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 error code 000150 to 000153

How to fix Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 errors code 000140,000141,000142,000143,000144 or fatal errors code 000150,000151,000152,000153?

 Stacker Assy Sensor Cable disconnected (CN12), improve or replace the cable.
 Replace the Stacker Assy Sensor.
 Replace the Stacker Assy Motor and/or Stacker Assy Encoder Sensor.
 Replace the Main Board.

2. See the Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 Paper out error, Paper jam error:

a, What solution for Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 Paper out error?

In this case, you will see the message “Paper out in Paper Cassette.” and the leading edge cannot be detected with the PE Sensor in the range of the standard movement out side the printer.

you need to:

1. Refill paper to the Cassette Assy and set the tray back in place fully.
2. PE Sensor FFC disconnected, breakage, slant connection, damaged contact (CN10).
3. Replace the PE Sensor.
4. Replace the Sub Board.
5. Replace the Main Board

just getting done with this option step, the printer will be better.

b, What is the Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 Paper Jam errors ?

Some able error case, you can meet on this step like:

1. Paper jam occurred between the Cassette Assy and the PE Sensor.
2. PE Sensor, PW Sensor error
3. CR system Fatal Error

For these Sensor error, I have solutions to fix this Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 Paper Jam error is:

 Remove the foreign objects.
 PE Sensor/PW Sensor FFC disconnection, breakage, slant connection, damaged
contact (CN10/CN30).
 Replace the PE Sensor/PW Sensor.
 Troubleshoot and repair the CR system Fatal Error.
 Replace the Sub Board.
 Replace the Main Board

      4. Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 message error “Paper jam in the Rear parts of printer”

Beside you won’t meet these above errors, the paper jam occurred while reversing paper or backside ejecting during paper feeding of duplex printing. your printer will step to the clear message “Paper jammed in the Rear parts of printer”.

Solution to fix “Paper jammed in the Rear parts of printer” is just to remove the foreign objects out of your printer.

3. Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 error code 031004, 031001, 031002 Head temperature error

Fatal Error: Head temperature error (031004)

Fatal Error: Head Hot error (before printing) (031001)

Fatal Error: Head Hot error (after flushing) (031002)

Note for that:  Head Hot error does not occur when the signals do not flow fully because part or all of the contact of FFC is covered by foreign objects or the like.

Solution to get done these Epson XP 15000 15010 15080 Head temperature error is:

1. Check the Head FFC state (CN42).
2. Replace the Head.
3. Replace the Main Board.
